Advocacy
The purpose of P4A advocacy is to humanize the unhoused and assert their right to dignity and safety. Advocacy is essentially about speaking up about homelessness as a humanitarian issue. Voicing support at city council meetings for more housing-first services, educating the public about the reality of homelessness and opposing enforcement and measures that criminalize homelessness are all forms of advocacy.
